Appeal after fatal crash in Maidstone

It happened on Christmas Eve

Officers are seeking witnesses, CCTV and dashcam footage, after a fatal collision in Barming, near Maidstone.

It happened just before 2.25pm on Tuesday 24 December 2024 on Tonbridge Road, close to The Bull Inn. A white Honda 125cc motorbike travelling in the direction of Wateringbury collided with a lamp-post.

Officers attended the scene, alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service and a man in his 40s was flown to a London hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.

His next of kin has been informed.

Investigating officers are now seeking witnesses to the incident.
