Police investigate sexual assault on girl aged eight in Aberdeenshire

An 8 year old girl has been sexually assaulted in Aberdeenshire

It happened in a play-park in the Duff Street area of Macduff on Monday, August 10th.

Officers say they are following a positive line of inquiry

It's understood an adult was not involved.
