A woman has been taken to hospital following a collision involving a pedestrian and a car in Inverness.

Emergency services were made aware of the crash near the Inshes roundabout at around 10am this morning.

The 45-year-old pedestrian was taken to Raigmore for treatment and the driver was not injured.

Police Scotland say the road has re-opened and enquiries are ongoing.

A spokesperson said: "Around 10.05am on Monday, 20 January, 2025, we were called to a report of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian at Inshes roundabout in Inverness.

"Emergency services attended and the 45-year-old female pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment.

"The driver was not injured.

"The road has reopened and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."

A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service added: "We received a call at 10:08 hours today to attend an incident on the B9006 and transported one patient to Raigmore Hospital.”
