Two arrested on suspicion of burglary after police search countryside
They are in custody
North Yorkshire police took part in a two hour search to find two suspected burglars who are in custody.
At about 8.30pm on Monday the force received a report of a burglary in progress at a property in Brompton-on-Swale, near Richmond.
Two suspects were seen leaving the area in a Vauxhall Insignia car.
A man in his 30s and a woman also in her 30s were arrested, they both remain in custody while enquiries continue.
