Survey launched to address connectivity complaints

Tom Gordon, the Liberal Democrat MP for Harrogate and Knaresborough, along with local councillors Matt Walker and Hannah Gostlow, has initiated a survey to collect residents' experiences with phone coverage in the region.

Multiple complaints have emerged about inadequate service with residents reporting patchy signal and unreliable connectivity.

The survey aims to gather information on signal strength, call and data reliability, and coverage gaps in Harrogate, Knaresborough, and the surrounding areas.

The results will help identify connectivity issues to present to North Yorkshire Council, and other phone companies for consideration and resolution.

Tom Gordon highlighted the significance of dependable phone coverage: “Decent phone coverage is basic infrastructure and it’s a serious safety issue when it disappears. We need your help to put together the full picture and restore coverage to our neighbourhoods.”

Residents are encouraged to participate in the three-minute survey available online.
