Man charged after alleged knife threat to police officers in Grimsby
Zachary Roberts has been charged with five offences
A 25-year-old man has been charged with five offences after police say officers were threatened with a knife in Grimsby.
Zachary Roberts, of no fixed abode, has been charged with:
- two counts of threatening a person with a bladed article
- possession of a bladed article
- affray
- and possession of an electrical incapacitation device
Police say officers were carrying out checks on Garden Street at around 11.40am yesterday (23 September) when they saw a man making a suspicious exchange of handheld items.
They say when officers approached him, he threatened them with a knife.
Roberts is due to appear at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court today (24 September).
