Witness appeal following Grimsby collision

The rider of an E-scooter was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision in Grimsby.

There are reports that a car and e-scooter were in collision at the Cartergate Junction with Chantry Lane at around 6.45pm last night (Monday, 2 March 2026).

Officers say it's reported a black Citroen DS3, and red E-scooter were in collision.

The rider of the E-scooter, a 36-year-old man, was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries which police say are not thought to be life threatening at this time.

Enquiries remain ongoing and Humberside Police is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision, has dashcam or CCTV from around the time it occurred, to contact them on 101.
