Two men charged following robbery in North Lincolnshire

Two men have been charged following a robbery at a shop in Hibaldstow.

It happened on Wednesday 2nd April at a shop on Redbourne Road.

Police received a report that two men entered a shop and allegedly threatened members of staff with baseball bats, stealing approximately £800 worth of alcohol and cigarettes before fleeing the scene.

Humberside Police said:

"Phillip Hornsby, 38, of Dixon Close in Brigg and Anthony Marsh, 57, of Somervell Road in Scunthorpe have been charged with two counts of robbery and using a motor vehicle without third party insurance.

"They have both been remanded into custody to appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court today (Thursday, 10 April). "
