Three charged after New Year's Eve Grimsby assault

They're all due in court today

Three people have been charged in connection with a reported assault in the street, at the junction of Lady Smith Road and Ropery Road in Grimsby on Wednesday, 31 December 2025.

Mark Stevens, 34-years-old, of Stanley Street in Grimsby, has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

Stephen Challenor, 35-years-old, of no fixed abode, has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm

Megan Maxwell, 30-years-old, of Stanley Street in Grimsby, has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Maxwell was also charged with three counts of shop theft, in relation to separate incidents in Grimsby.

They have all been remanded into custody, ahead of their appearance at Grimsby Magistrates Court today.
