Three charged after suspected overdoses in Grimsby

Three men have been charged with drug offences after numerous people were found unresponsive in Grimsby on Saturday (24th January).

Four people were found believed to have overdosed on what is suspected to be heroin and a synthetic amphetamine.

Officers executed two warrants at addresses in Grimsby on Sunday following the reports.

They say quantities of suspected Class A, B and C drugs, cash and mobile phones were found.

Ten people in total were arrested, seven have been released on bail as investigations continue.

The charges

20-year-old Jack Baker, who's from Cleethorpes, has been charged with:

  • two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs
  • possession of an offensive weapon
  • possession of criminal property

23-year-old Owen Barker, who's from Grimsby, has been charged with:

  • two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs

21-year-old Fidel Rayzan, who's from Grimsby, has been charged with:

  • three counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs
  • possession of criminal property

Baker and Barker have been remanded into custody, whilst Rayzan has been released on conditional bail pending a further court appearance.
