Three charged in connection with arson in Grimsby

Police have confirmed three men have been charged following reports of suspected arson in Grimsby.

The force were called to Barmouth Drive on Tuesday (14 October) after five vehicles were discovered to be on fire.

SInce then, Jason Gladding, 35-years-old of Columbus Way in Grimsby, Gary Mills, 41-years-old of Beeson Street in Grimsby, and Matthew Somerfield, 39-years-old, of no fixed abode, have all been charged with arson with intent to endanger life.

All three men were remanded into custody to appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court this morning (Friday, 17 October 2025).
