Ten men arrested for drugs offences after four found unresponsive in Grimsby

Ten men have been arrested after numerous people were found unresponsive, believed to have overdosed, in Grimsby.

Emergency services were called out to several addresses in the East Marsh area between 7pm and midnight on Saturday (24th January).

Four people were found unresponsive believed to have overdosed on what is suspected to be heroin and a synthetic amphetamine.

Warrants were executed on Robert Pearson Mews and Castle Street in Grimsby, and a search was conducted at an address on Cambridge Street in Cleethorpes.

Officers found class A, B and C drugs, cash and mobile phones.

Ten men have been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply class A drugs.

Those arrested include:

  • an 18-year-old man
  • two 20-year-old men
  • two 21-year-old men
  • two 23-year-old men
  • a 25-year-old man
  • a 32-year-old man
  • a 39-year-old man

Officers say enquiries are still ongoing, and all of the men remain in police custody.

A scene guard is in place on Castle Street and Robert Pearson Mews.
