Man in critical condition after crash in Grimsby
Officers said a pillion passenger also sustained serious injuries
Police in Grimsby have launched an investigation after after a motorcyclist sustained life threatening injuries in crash in Grimsby at the weekend (7 June).
The force were called to reports of the collision on Heneage Road, at around 2:20pm.
Officers said a blue Kawasaki motorcycle was travelling along Heneage Road towards Welholme Road when it is believed to have been in collision with a BMW near to the junction with David Street.
Emergency services attended and the rider of the motorcycle was taken to hospital to receive treatment to life threatening injuries where they remain in a critical condition.
The pillion passenger sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment in hospital.
The driver of the BMW was checked over at the scene for what are thought to be minor injuries.
Humberside Police are now appealing for more information and witnesses.
