Three charged after 'altercation involving baseball bats' in Grimsby
A man was taken to hospital
Three men have been charged in connection with a reported altercation involving baseball bats in Grimsby.
Emergency services were called to Lord Street at around 9am yesterday morning (23 July) after reports of an altercation involving four men.
Witnesses reported seeing three men carrying baseball bats.
A 37-year-old man was taken to hospital with what's thought to be a stab wound.
His injuries are thought to be life-threatening at this time.
Officers say they believe the four men are known to each other.
The charges
Liam Finnie 35-years-old of Lord Street, Grimsby and Robert Gladding, 34-years-old of Second Avenue, Grimsby have both been charged with affray, criminal damage and possession of a bladed article.
Dale Page, 37-years-old of Westerdale Way, Grimsby has been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
All three men have been remanded into custody and are due to appear at Grimsby Magistrates court today (24 July).
