Appeal for witnesses after serious two-vehicle collision in Grimsby

60-year-old driver in hospital with life-threatening injuries

Police are appealing for witnesses, after a serious collision between two vehicles on Ladysmith Road in Grimsby on Saturday 3rd January.

At around 2:30 pm, a red Peugeot travelling down Ladysmith Road collided with a parked blue Vauxhall. Emergency services attended, and the driver of the Peugeot, a 60-year-old man, was taken to hospital with injuries that are currently thought to be life-threatening.

Officers are particularly keen to hear from the driver of a silver van believed to have assisted at the scene, as well as anyone who witnessed the incident.
