Further three people arrested in connection with Grimsby drug overdoses
A total of four people have died from suspected drug overdoses
Another three people have been arrested in connection with an investigation into numerous suspected drug overdoses in Grimsby.
A total of four people have died and multiple people have been reported unwell since 24th January 2026.
Officers are investigating how potent drugs have come to be in circulation and if all the incidents are related.
Officers say just this weekend, eight people have reportedly overdosed.
On Sunday (15th February), three men, aged 32, 33, and 38, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
That's after officers executed a warrant on Peaksfield Avenue in Grimsby and found cash worth around £2000, mobile devices, a suspected firearm, and an estimated £1000 worth of suspected cannabis.
Nine other people have previously been charged in connection with this investigation.
