E-scooter rider seriously injured after Grimsby crash

Police are appealing for witnesses, after receiving reports of road traffic collision between Broadway and Pershore Avenue in Grimsby between 8.15pm and 8.40pm on Sunday evening (Sunday, 3 August).

It is reported that a rider of an e-scooter had fallen, resulting in him suffering serious head injuries.

A 36-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries and remains in a critical condition.

Officers continue their enquiries to establish the circumstances around the collision, so if anyone has any information that could assist with the investigation or has dashcam from around the time the collision occurred, please call the non-emergency number 101, quoting log 514 of 3 August.
