Cyclist dies after collision with car in Grimsby

He died from his injuries in hospital

A man has died following a collision between his bicycle and car in Grimsby.

Officers say they were called at around 3.55am today (12th March) to reports that a red Toyota Prius and a black Cube pedal cycle had collided on Eleanor Street at the junction with Hainton Avenue.

The rider of the bike, a 40-year-old man, died in hospital from his injuries.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with any dashcam or CCTV footage to call 101 quoting log 49 of 12 March 2026.
