Woman arrested one year after fatal Paisley fire
The 50 year old is due to appear in court on Saturday
A year after a deadly fire in Paisley, a woman has been arrested and charged in connection.
Eight properties were evacuated, and seven people were taken to hospital after the blaze on Barterholm Road on 6 April 2025.
A 38 year old woman died three days later in hospital on Wednesday 9 April 2025.
On 3 April 2026, a 50 year old woman was arrested and charged with the death, and is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Saturday 4 April.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
