Police appeal after targeted daylight attack in Gourock
A man was assaulted around lunchtime today and taken to hospital for treatment
Around 1.10pm on Friday, 14 February, 2025, officers were called to a report of an assault at a property on Davidson Drive, Gourock.
A 56-year-old man has been taken to hospital.
Enquiries are ongoing.
Sergeant Laura Clark said: “This is believed to have been a targeted incident and there was no risk to the wider public.
“Officers remain at the scene. Anyone with concerns can speak to officers or phone police on 101.”
