Russell Martin sacked by Rangers

Rangers have sacked head coach Russell Martin following Sunday's 1-1 draw with Falkirk.
The former Scotland international leaves Ibrox just four months after being appointed.
Martin managed just five wins in 17 matches in all competitions.
The Ibrox side currently sit eighth in the Premiership table having won just once in seven league matches.
He leaves the club with a win rate of less than 30-percent after also failing to get the club into the Champions League and losing his opening two Europa League games.
The 39-year old had to be given a police escort away from the Falkirk Stadium after angry fans surrounded the team bus.
That proved to be the final straw for Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises who have called time on his spell in Govan.
A club statement read: "Rangers Football Club confirms that it has parted company with Head Coach, Russell Martin.
"While all transition periods require some time, results have not met the club's expectations.
"Assistant Head Coach, Matt Gill, and First-Team Coach, Mike Williamson, will also be departing.
"Russell and his staff have worked exceptionally hard throughout their time at the club. We thank them for their efforts and wish them well for the future.
"Further updates from the club will follow in due course."
