Rangers have completed the signing of Sturm Graz midfielder Tochi Chukwuani.

The 22-year old joins for a fee of around £4million and has signed a three-and-a-half year deal.

Chukwuani has played against both sides of the Old Firm in the Europa League this season.

He played the full match as his side beat Rangers 2-1 in Austria, but was sent off against Celtic in their 2-1 defeat in Glasgow.

The Danish youth international came through the academy at Nordsjælland before moving to Lyngby in 2022.

Chukwuani then moved to Sturm Graz in the summer of 2024 and has gone on to make 64 appearances for the club - scoring four times.

After signing for the club, he told the club's official website: “I’m super excited. Rangers are a huge club and I can’t wait to hear the roar at Ibrox.

“It’s a historic club with a huge fanbase. There are huge expectations, and this is something as a footballer you want to play in front of.

“It gives motivation every weekend to go and give 100 per cent and do what you can to put smiles on people’s faces.”

Head coach Danny Röhl, added: “We are really excited to bring Tochi to the club.

“He is a player who strengthens our group and offers specific qualities that we believe will enhance our midfield department.

“With experience of European competition and winning titles, as well as his technical and physical attributes, he knows exactly what is required to thrive at a club like Rangers.”
