Rangers have completed the loan signing of Wolfsburg winger Andreas Skov Olsen.

The 26-year-old has joined until the summer, with an option to buy included in the deal that could keep him at Ibrox permanently.

It's understood the fee to clinch the deal in the summer would be around £9million.

Skov Olsen has 40 caps for Denmark and has been a target for previous managers in Govan.

He made several big money moves in the past, and has played for FC Nordsjælland, Bologna, Club Brugge and Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.

Midfielder Tochi Chukuwani became Danny Röhl’s first January signing after arriving from Sturm Graz for a reported fee of £4m.

Left-back Tuur Rommens of Westerlo also made the switch to Ibrox this week.

Speaking to the club's official website, Skov Olsen said: “I’m very excited. I’m very happy that it’s done and I’m so excited to meet all the players, fans and the rest of the club.

“Rangers are the biggest club in Scotland with a huge history. It has huge traditions and is a very old club.

“When I finally heard that I had the opportunity to come here, I wasn’t in doubt for a second. I want to come here to try help win trophies with the rest of the team, do my best, and have a great time here.”
