Rangers have been drawn against Fenerbache in the last 16 of the Europa League.

Philippe Clement's side advanced straight to that round after finishing in the top eight of the newly formatted league phase.

Other clubs had to battle it out in the play-off round to secure their spot.

The Ibrox side won four of their eight matches, with a 2-1 win victory Belgians Union Saint Gilloise on the final matchday allowing them to skip a knockout round.

Jose Mourinho's Fenerbache sit second in the Turkish Super Lig and moved comfortably through to the last 16.

They beat Anderlecht 3-0 at home before a 2-2 draw in Belgium this week.

An interval had to be taken during the second leg due to fighting between supporters in the stands.

Mourinho's team is full of experienced players with the likes of Edin Dzeko, Dusan Tadic, Fred and Milan Skriniar all playing their football at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium.

Rangers are scheduled to be away for the first leg on March 6 before the return tie at Ibrox a week later.
