Police search for suspect after deliberate fire in Hamilton
No one was injured in the blaze on Wednesday morning
Police in Hamilton are appealing for witnesses after a car was set on fire on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to Sneddon Terrace at around 7.30am on 29 July.
The fire was extinguished, there were no reports of any injuries.
Officers say the suspect was a white man, around 5ft 8, between 18 and 30 and of slim build.
He was wearing a black hoodie with the hood up, black trainers, and a black face covering.
The suspect left the scene in the direction of Glasgow Road.
Police appeal
Detective Constable Meechan said: “Our enquiries have been ongoing and we are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident or who believes they may have seen a man matching the description to contact us.
“I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time and who may have dash cam or private CCTV that could assist to get in touch.”
