Lennon Miller has completed his record move from Motherwell to Udinese.

The 18-year-old had suitors across the continent but has finalised a move to the Italian side.

He has signed a five-year deal with the Serie A outfit.

The record-fee has surpassed the £3.25m that the Fir Park side landed from Celtic when they sold David Turnbull in 2020 and includes add-ons and a sell-on clause.

He did not make an appearance for Jens Berthal Askou's side this campaign.

The midfielder had been at Motherwell since the age of seven and broke in to the first team aged just 16.

He went on to make 76 appearances in claret and amber, and scored six goals.

Miller has also made two appearances for the Scotland national team under Steve Clarke.

He now follows the footsteps of many other Scottish players by moving to Serie A, including Liam Henderson, Aaron Hickey, Josh Doig, Lewis Ferguson, Scott McTominay and Billy Gilmour.
