Man and woman arrested after officer assaulted in Glasgow
Police were called out to an incident on Byres Road earlier.
A man and a woman have been arrested after an officer was assaulted in the West End of Glasgow earlier this afternoon.
Police were called out to a premises on Byres Road around 1.30pm to a report of a man and a woman causing a disturbance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1.30pm on Thursday, 2 January, 2025, we were called to a report of a man and a woman causing a disturbance in a premises on Byres Road, Glasgow.
"A 38-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man were arrested in connection and also with assaulting a police officer.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
