A man has been arrested and charged over the death of a woman in East Ayrshire.
Police were called to a home in Newmilns on Tuesday 23 September 2025 to reports of an injured woman.
47-year-old Michelle Thomson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her family are aware and are being supported by specialist officers.
A 26-year-old man is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Thursday 25 September 2025.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
