Man arrested after £150000 of cannabis seized in Glasgow

Around 150 cannabis plants were taken from the address on Croftend Avenue on Saturday afternoon.

A 47-year-old man has been arrested after officers seized around £150,000 of cannabis from an address in Glasgow at the weekend.

The discovery was made around 5pm on Saturday at a property on Croftend Avenue.

Around 150 cannabis plants were taken.

The man is due to appear at the Sheriff Court in Glasgow.

Inspector Christopher Thomson said, “Serious and Organised Crime remains a priority and along with our partners and specialist resources, we are committed to detecting offences and disrupting criminal enterprises.
