Robbie Keane quits Ferencvaros as Celtic rumours increase
Robbie Keane has quit his job as manager of Ferencvaros with speculation over a potential return to Celtic inreasing.
The Irishman has been heavily linked to the job in the Parkhead dugout, as uncertainty surrounds the future of current interim boss Martin O'Neill.
Early frontrunner and former Motherwell head coach Jens Berthel Askou has already moved to Toulouse.
Keane had been in charge of the Hungarian side for 18 months, winning the league title last season and the cup this campaign.
The 45-year-old has also previously managed Maccabi Tel Aviv, lifting two trophies in Israel.
Keane had an illustrious playing career in the Premier League and internationally.
He played 19 games for Celtic on loan in 2010, scoring 16 times.
Former Wales manager Craig Bellamy has also been linked with the job.
