Hamza Igamane misses Rangers training amid 'no obvious signs of injury'
Last updated 26th Aug 2025
Rangers striker Hamza Igamane did not train with his teammates on Tuesday morning after refusing to play against St Mirren.
The Moroccan claimed he was injured when Russell Martin attempted to substitute him on.
Ibrox boss Martin revealed after the match that a bid had been rejected for Igamane during the week - sparking speculation as to whether the player was actually injured.
Sky Sports are now reporting the forward showed "no signs of obvious injury" during an assessment by staff.
The club are now understood to be planning for life without Igamane who is not expected to travel to Belgium for the second leg of their Champions League play-off with Club Brugge on Thursday.
Lille and Feyenoord are two of the clubs credited with an interest in the 22-year old ahead of Monday's transfer deadline.
Igamane joined Rangers from AS FAR in his homeland last summer and has gone on to make 49 appearances for the club - scoring 16 times.
He has only featured three times this campaign after arriving late for pre season due to visa issues.
