A man's been charged after a drugs bust in Kilsyth this week.

Police raided a house on Townhead street on Tuesday, seizing £10,000 worth of cocaine.

The 38-year-old's been released on an undertaking to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court at a later date.

Detective Chief Inspector Susie Cairns said: “This seizure demonstrates our ongoing commitment to removing illegal drugs from the streets of Lanarkshire.

"Information from the public is vital and I would urge anyone who has information or concerns about drugs in their community to contact Police Scotland on 101. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained."
