Celtic drawn against Bayern Munich in Champions League play-off
Celtic will face Bayern Munich in the Champions League play-off next month.
However, it remains to be seen if supporters will be allowed to attend the away leg after the club received another fine.
Brendan Rodgers side have been drawn against the six-time winners with a place in the last 16 on the line.
The Scottish champions will be at home for the first leg on either the 11th or 12th of February, with the return leg in Germany taking place the following week.
Celtic last played Bayern in 2017, losing twice in the group stage.
The Parkhead side finished 21st in the inaugural league phase of the competition, with Bayern finishing in 12th.
The club have also received a disciplinary notice from UEFA following the match against Aston Villa on Wednesday, where a smoke bomb was released from the away section.
Celtic have already been subject to UEFA punishment this season after some supporters let off pyrotechnics in the defeat to Borussia Dortmund on matchday two.
They were fined €20,000 and given a warning that if such behaviour was repeated at a match in the next two years, the club would be prevented from selling tickets to supporters for one away match in UEFA club competitions.
It remains to be seen whether fans will be allowed to attend the away game in Munich.
