Woman rescued from Essex mudflat
She was waist deep by the river at Rowhedge when emergency services arrived last night (2nd June)
A woman's been rescued from a mudflat at Rowhedge.
Essex County Fire & Rescue Service say she was waist deep around 15 metres from the River Colne and had been trapped for around an hour.
Firefighters used specialist mud rescue kit and throw lines to get her out, with help from the RNLI and other emergency services.
