Woman in her 90s dies after collision involving a car in Waltham Abbey

Police are appealing for witnesses, dashcam or CCTV footage

A woman in her 90s has died after being hit by a car in Leverton Way, Waltham Abbey.

Emergency services were called to the scene just before 10.30am on Tuesday 20th January following reports of a collision involving a silver Citroen C4 and a pedestrian.

The woman was taken to hospital in a serious condition but has since passed away.

Police investigating the fatal collision are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Officers are asking anyone who has dashcam footage, CCTV, or information that could help their investigation and has not already come forward to get in touch.

They have asked the public to quote incident 300 of 20th January when providing information.
