A Waltham Abbey drug dealer, convicted twice in nine months, has been jailed for four years, after an investigation by the Serious Organised Crime Unit at Essex Police.

An estimated £5,000 of cocaine and cannabis plus £2,700 in cash was seized when officers executed a warrant at the home of Daniel Tuedor, 46, in Osprey Road on 4 September 2025.

A lump of cocaine and a set of scales were located in a tea urn in a food trailer, while the cannabis, cash and several phones were recovered during a search of his house, Chelmsford Crown Court was told on 18 December. Several 0.5 gramme deal bags of cocaine were found in his car.

Tuedor had pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possession of cannabis, at a previous hearing. He also admitted breaching a suspended jail term imposed in November 2024, again for possession with intent to supply cocaine.

After the case, investigating officer DC Dominic Campling said: “Tuedor had clearly not learnt his lesson from the last time Essex Police caught up with him and his latest sentence reflects that.

“This case shows criminals that, here in Essex, we will continue to pursue them and ensure justice is properly served while taking drugs off the streets which cause immense harm in our communities.”

Tuedor was jailed for a total of 48 months – 40 months for possession with intent to supply cocaine, to be served consecutively to eight months imposed for breaching his previous suspended sentence, plus another month for possession of cannabis, to be served concurrently.

Essex Police has made an application for a confiscation order under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. The case will next be heard in Chelmsford Crown Court on 26 June 2026.
