"Unexpected" death on Shoebury Beach

Essex Police say that a man's death is being treated as "unexpected", whilst a file is being prepared for the coroner.

A man's body was found on Christmas Day in Shoeburyness.

The Police have confirmed that the man died at the location.

Their update is that: "Emergency services were called to Shoebury Common Road, Shoeburyness, on Thursday 25 December. Sadly, a man died at the location. His death is being treated as unexpected, and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
