Two injured in light aircraft crash at Clacton Airfield

Two people suffered minor injuries after a collision involving a light aircraft at Clacton Airfield.

Emergency services were called shortly after 12.10pm yesterday (25 April), following the incident.

Two people were treated by the ambulance service.

The fire service said there were no flames, only smoke coming from the aircraft, and crews made the scene safe by stopping a fuel leak.

Essex Police said further enquiries will be led by the Air Accident Investigation Branch.
