Two people have been arrested as Essex Police investigate a dog bite incident in Loughton.

A woman in her 30s reported being bitten in Highwood Lane at 2.50pm on 13 May and sustained an injury to her arm.

The dog was with another dog and officer say they have been working to locate them and their owner since the incident.

A 61 year old man and a 59 year old woman, both from Loughton, have been arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a dog dangerously out of control. Both have been released on bail.

The dogs have been seized and enquiries are ongoing.
