Tributes paid to teenager who died after car left the road in Ongar

His family say he was a dearly loved son, brother and friend to everyone that knew him.

The family of a 16 year-old boy who died following a collision in Ongar last month say he will be greatly missed.

Harvey Toci died after a car left Blake Hall Road and came to a stop in a ditch at around 12.20am on Thursday 26 June.

In a statement his family said: “Harvey was a dearly loved son, brother and friend to everyone that knew him.

“Harvey worked as a Barber with his dad for a year.

“He enjoyed cars, spending time with his family and friends, gaming and playing football.

“All the family members and friends will greatly miss Harvey very much.

“We request to be left alone and allowed to grieve at this very difficult time.”

Three teenagers were all arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

A 19 year-old man and a15 year-old boy have been released on bail while a 17 year-old boy has been released under investigation.
