Thames Water says it has successfully repaired three burst pipes in Chigwell, but efforts continue to restore water supplies to 10,000 homes affected by the disruption.

Clean water tankers are being deployed to pump water into the network, aiming to gradually restore normal water pressure and supply to customers.

Additional damaged pipes still require attention to completely resolve the disruption.

Bottled Water Stations

Thames Water has opened two bottled water stations to assist residents during the repair process:

Fairlop Ice Kingdom, Forest Road, Ilford IG6 3HN

New City College, Borders Lane, Loughton, IG10 3SA

Visitors can have bottled water loaded into their vehicles by staff, who request that customers only take what is necessary.

Updates on the situation are being provided as Thames Water continues to work towards restoring full water supply to the affected areas.
