Shoebury building damaged in suspected arson
Investigation underway after blaze at Maplin Way
An investigation is currently underway following a suspected arson attack at a disused building in Shoebury.
Emergency services responded to the fire shortly after 7pm on Saturday evening (6th June) at Maplin Way.
Although the building endured extensive damage, there were no reported injuries.
According to those leading the investigation, multiple lines of enquiry are being pursued to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A joint Police and Fire Service investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire.
