Firefighters tackle blaze at Roydon industrial unit

Firefighters worked overnight to combat a large fire at an industrial unit in Roydon, successfully extinguishing sections by 6:42 AM.

Six fire crews were deployed to Old House Lane after calls about smoke in the area were received at 9:18 PM.

Upon arrival, firefighters, alongside colleagues from Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, found the industrial unit completely engulfed in flames.

An Aerial Ladder Platform has been utilised to tackle the blaze.

A thorough investigation will be undertaken to ascertain the fire's origin.
