Road closed in Buckhurst Hill after serious crash

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious collision in Buckhurst Hill this morning.

Emergency services were called to a collision involving a pedestrian and a car in Palmerston Road at just after 7.30am.

Palmerston Road is currently closed between Victoria Road and Westbury Lane while emergency services work at the scene.

Officers are asking motorists to avoid the area and be aware of delays.
