Road closed in Coggeshall after crash leaves person with life-threatening injuries

A person's been taken to hospital with life threatening injuries after a crash in Coggeshall.
It happened on the B1024/Colne Road, between Coggeshall and Earls Colne at around 3.10pm.
A road closure is in place near the junction with Witch Lane, and is expected to remain in place for some time.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible.
Officers need anyone with dashcam footage or information to get in touch.
