Reform Party has made significant gains across several councils in Essex following the recent local elections.

They are also now in majority across Essex County Council.

In Brentwood, the council remains in no overall control, with Reform winning half of the seats that were available.

The Liberal Democrats, Labour, and the Conservatives all lost seats in the area.

Rochford also stays in no overall control, but Reform emerged victorious in 13 of the 15 seats contested.

In Southend-on-Sea, while the council remains without overall control, Reform gained 8 seats, and the Greens won 2.

Colchester's situation is similar as the council remains in no overall control.

Reform now holds 5 seats, making gains at the expense of Labour, Liberal Democrats, and the Tories.
