Red Arrows rock the Clacton Airshow
They are set to open the second day of the event
The Red Arrows received a large applause during their performance at the Clacton Airshow.
They closed the daytime displays on Thursday and performed a range of aerobatic tricks.
Thousands came to the Essex coastline to see the first day of the Airshow, with dozens of aircraft in the skies.
Despite concerns about the weather, most displays took place, as the sun came out ahead of the opening display.
The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight however did not take place, making it the second year in a row it hasn't made it to the Airshow.
The Second Day of the Airshow will begin with the Red Arrows opening the event.
Squadron Leader, otherwise known as Red Ten, Stuart Roberts said:
"We worked really hard during the Winter to put on the best show possible. The boys work really hard flying, training, critiquing their own flying."
Speaking about their opening on the second day of the Airshow he said:
"The environmentals will be different, the sea will be different, but that is what we train for".
