Two men arrested on suspicion of assault in Rayleigh pub incident

Essex Police are appealing for witnesses

Two men have been arrested following a disturbance at a pub in Rayleigh.

Essex Police say they were called out to the Paul Fry Public House on High Road shortly before 10:30pm on Sunday (5 April).

The men were taken into custody on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and criminal damage at the pub.

They remain in custody as police continue to investigate the incident.

Officers are appealing for information from the public, including any CCTV, dash cam, or other footage that might assist in their inquiries.
