Police release e-fit image of suspect in child rape case
It's alleged the boy was assaulted in country lanes between Halstead and Gestingthorpe
Officers investigating the rape of a teenage boy in 2021 have released an e-fit of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.
The force recently received a report of the incident which took place in February 2021, where a 13-year-old boy was travelling on foot in country lanes between Halstead and Gestingthorpe.
The suspect reportedly approached the victim asking for directions to Halstead before raping him.
Now, investigators are releasing a composite image of a man they want to speak to in relation to this report.
This man is believed to be about 6ft 2in tall, white, of strong build, with a belly and a thin and wrinkled face.
He had brown hair and stubble, and reportedly had blotches on his skin.
He was wearing a red top and jeans.
