Police are appealing for any information about an incident that left two men with serious injuries.
At about 9.50pm yesterday, two men arrived at Basildon Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
They received urgent treatment and remain in a serious condition in hospital.
Officers believe the men travelled to the hospital from Grays in a white Mercedes, and may have left the town about 9.15pm.
They want to hear from anyone with any information about the incident that led to these men being injured, or anyone who also saw this car travelling in the Grays or Basildon areas yesterday evening.
